1. Information We Don't Collect
XT-Drop is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, or process:
- Personal information (name, email, phone number)
- IP addresses (IPs are hashed with a server-side pepper and never stored in raw form)
- Cookies or tracking identifiers
- Analytics or behavioral data
- File contents (files are encrypted client-side before upload; we cannot decrypt them)
2. What We Store
- Encrypted file blobs: Stored in Cloudflare R2 for a maximum of 24 hours, then permanently deleted.
- File metadata: Filename, size, MIME type, upload timestamp, expiry time, download count, and SHA-256 hash. Stored in Cloudflare KV with automatic TTL expiry.
- Rate limit counters: Hashed IP + action counters, stored in KV with 1-hour TTL.
3. Encryption
All files are encrypted using AES-256-GCM in your browser before upload. The encryption key is generated client-side and included only in the URL fragment (#key), which is never sent to our servers. We have zero knowledge of your file contents.
4. Data Retention
All files and metadata are automatically deleted after 24 hours or when the download limit is reached — whichever comes first. There is no way to recover deleted files.
5. Third Parties
XT-Drop runs on Cloudflare Workers infrastructure. Cloudflare's standard edge network logs may apply. We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
6. Your Browser's Local Storage
The "Upload History" feature stores data exclusively in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not synced to any server.

By using XT-Drop, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Permitted Use
XT-Drop is provided for lawful file sharing purposes. You agree not to upload:
- Malware, viruses, or malicious software
- Content that violates intellectual property rights
- Illegal content under applicable laws
- Content that promotes violence, harassment, or discrimination
3. Service Limitations
- Maximum file size: 1 GB
- Files are automatically deleted after 24 hours
- No guarantee of uptime or availability
- Rate limits apply to prevent abuse
4. No Warranty
XT-Drop is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for data loss, service interruptions, or any damages arising from use of the service.
5. Disclaimer
Due to end-to-end encryption, we cannot monitor or control the content shared through our service. Users are solely responsible for the content they share.
DMCA Policy

1. Notice
XT-Drop respects intellectual property rights. Due to our end-to-end encryption architecture, we cannot inspect or verify the contents of uploaded files.
2. Reporting Infringement
If you believe a file shared via XT-Drop infringes your copyright, please provide:
- The specific URL of the infringing content
- Proof of copyright ownership
- Your contact information
- A statement of good faith belief
3. Action
Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice with a specific file URL, we will delete the file and its metadata from our servers. Note that all files are automatically deleted within 24 hours regardless.
4. Counter-Notice
If you believe your content was wrongly removed, you may file a counter-notice.
